The growing crisis in Britain

Emergency Use Only, a report into food bank usage discovered that:

"The acute crisis that led the people we interviewed to have to turn to food banks was set against a backdrop of complex, difficult lives.

It was common for food bank users to have experienced ill health, relationship breakdown, substantial caring responsibilities or job loss.

Many lived on constantly low incomes. People with mental health problems appeared to be particularly at risk."

We help persons or families in crisis stabilise their lives.  To do this, we provide a holistic and intuitive mix of advocacy, practical and emotional support that covers the core areas of income, housing, health care, disability, social care and debt.

Teams of dedicated and passionate volunteers deliver our services -- many of whom have been carers or have a disability themselves, so they understand first-hand the challenges that vulnerable adults face.

At Grace Advocacy we recognise that, with vulnerable adults, debt is often a symptom of other essential needs that are not being met. We aim to assist the person or family to gain stability and where necessary access the right services and medical care. We, therefore, provide a holistic and intuitive mix of advocacy and practical support that covers the core areas of income, housing, health care, disability, social care and debt.

Our services are delivered by teams of dedicated and passionate volunteers -- many of whom have been carers or have a disability themselves, so they understand first-hand the challenges that vulnerable adults face.
